At the back of the shop is a commercial kitchen in which we produce fresh soups, savouries and ready meals for you to take home.

Looking for food for your party?  Choose from freshly baked local breads, dukkah, dipping oils, antipasto, marinated vegetables, olives, a range of nuts, crisps, crackers and fresh fruit on the side.  You can also select from fresh and cured meats made in NZ by artisan butchers as well as imported smoked salmon, eel, mussels and a selection of both local NZ and imported cheeses.

The food is delicious and the prices very reasonable.  Buy a hot soup, winter comfort food, a healthy tasty home made pie or sausage roll, a hearty sandwich or a take away meal for dinner.  You can then follow with a wide choice of cakes and sweet things.  Order salads, entrees, savoury dishes or desserts.  We also make simple cakes and other unique dishes for any occasion - like grandmothers make.
